Optical fiber cable (OFC) laying work by trenchless method is a technique of installing underground cables without digging open trenches. This method minimizes the disruption to the surface, reduces the environmental impact, and saves time and cost. The trenchless method involves using specialized equipment such as horizontal directional drilling (HDD) machines, micro-tunneling machines, or pipe jacking machines to create a borehole or a tunnel along the desired route of the cable. The OFC is then pulled or pushed through the borehole or tunnel using a winch or a hydraulic jack. The trenchless method is suitable for areas where conventional trenching is difficult or impractical, such as urban areas, congested roads, river crossings, or rocky terrains.
